Your head start will make all the difference!
Are you planning to make a list of New Year’s Resolutions (that you probably won’t keep past the second week of January)?
What are you thinking???
New Relationship (or getting rid of one)
New Job; Career; or Business
New Savings Plan
What if we thought about starting the New Year with a new mindset! Then, maybe we could accomplish some of the other things on the list.
Perhaps we consciously choose to concentrate on what we already have and make it even better; speak positivity into the universe; and begin stepping into our new beginning, a little ahead of time. Don’t wait – Start today!
What changes will we need to make?
What habits will we need to break?
What tools will we need at our disposal?
Who will we need to support and encourage us along the way?
Let’s start with the end in mind. What’s the goal? Once identified, we can work backwards to figure out what we might need to do next. Write down your end goal and identify the step or task needed immediately prior to being able to accomplish that goal.
Then, identify the step just before that one, and so on, and so on. Continue this process until you come to your current position today, as it pertains to moving towards the goal, on your ladder of success.
Now, you are ready to move to action. Take the first step on the ladder; ask for help if necessary, and don’t give up! Keep it moving, even if (and most likely, when) it becomes challenging. Push through it and you will make it to the next step. The more steps you climb, the more momentum you will acquire; and it will help propel you to the next step in the process.
Remember: You have made it this far and you can make it through the remainder of this challenging year – 2020. The New Year and New Beginnings are almost here! You are focused and intentional about accomplishing your goals – you only need to start with the right mindset, have a plan, and the fortitude to implement the plan.
