Which Chapter of Your Life are you Writing Today?

Are you wasting time passively binge-watching the mini-series of your life, or are you actively participating in each episode, of every season? I am reminded that life is precious, and time is finite, therefore it is imperative that I cherish every moment - as if it were the last. I have learned to appreciate being in the “hallways” of life, as I am on my way to where I am going.

That is not an easy task, as it requires patience, faith, and a sense of gratitude for where I am, in the moment. Sometimes those moments are challenging, even scary, but regardless of our feelings, fears, and trepidations, we must move forward, if we are to fully grasp the gifts of opportunity which lies ahead. We should learn to embrace each chapter, and every episode, of the various seasons in our lives, because the time is never able to be recaptured. My husband, Kenneth, often reminds me of the importance of sufficiently utilizing the 86,400 seconds that we have in each day, as we never get that time back once it has passed.

Today, I am appreciating every moment in life, despite the real or perceived challenges, and actively participating in each episode. That requires being fully present in the moment, appreciating all that entails, and allowing myself to fully experience whatever is in front of me, at the time. Much like being on vacation and enjoying a particular activity or event – we almost wish it could last forever, right? But realistically, since time does not stand still, we know it will end, no matter how pleasant, fun, or exciting. Therefore, we should embrace the joy found in the moment, capture it in our hearts, and store it for future use – in the form of great memories. After all, isn’t that what life is really about anyway – making an impact and creating memories?

Ask yourself, “Which chapter of my life am I writing today?” “Which episode and season am I in, at this point in my life?” How would you answer those questions? Would you be watching the drama of your life go by; or would you be an active participant? These are important questions to answer for ourselves, as we should be intentional about our use of this finite and precious commodity called TIME.

We all know the saying that tomorrow is not promised, therefore we should take heed and make a decision to start really living, learning, and loving the life that we have been given, and those who are an important part of it. In the event you do not particularly like your life, as it is in this moment, plan to make some changes; but do it NOW! Don’t waste another 86,400 seconds believing there is always more time.

Actively DECIDE to take the necessary steps to make your dreams come true, experience life to the fullest, and you will find that God’s grace, and the laws of attraction, will kick into high gear to help you make it happen!
